IoT¶

RISE used Unipi in the lowest level, to read the sensor data. Then they had NodeRed as the IoT platform for connecting the data with MQTT. They used Zabbix for collecting the data in one place from NodeRed and directly from the servers. Kairos was used for presistent data storage. They had defined their metadata with naming hierarchy for organizing the data.

We need also to define what sensors we are going to use and how they would be connected to data collection system. And we need to also define the metadata and find out how to maintain that.
